These are industrial units suitable for local cooling of equipment or personnel in production areas or with discharge hoses fitted for emergency use in Server Rooms etc. Capacities range from 4kW up to 30kW; however units above 7kW will generally require a 3 ph supply. Cooled air volumes are high via directional nozzles, with temperatures of 10ºC achievable. Condensate collects in a large collection tank.
For: Units move large air volumes. Can achieve lower temperatures.
Against: Units are heavy. Usually too noisy for office use.
